The emphasis this season is on bold prints, bright colors and pastels for those who prefer a softer palette. In 2024 the “Little White Dress” has taken the place of the “Little Black Dress” as the statement style.

 

Bold Prints – Drawing inspiration from art, animals and travel, prints channel a sense of confidence and allure.  Pick bold colors and prints that express your unique personality, whether long or short.

White – A summer essential, a white dress is always timeless and classic.  White suggests sophistication and is useful as a blank canvas for jewelry, wraps and shoes.

Styling tip:  White pairs well with everything, neutrals, pastels or bold colors.  Pair with sneakers, or sandals, the perfect pashmina or shawl and curated jewelry and you are ready to go!

 

Pastels – For those who prefer muted, softer hues choose pale blues, pinks, peaches or greens.  Whimsical tiered dresses in pastel colors are very feminine and popular this season.  These dresses look beautiful with everything from sandals to slingback pumps for a dressier look.

Styling Tip – Pair your pastel dress with minimalist accessories for a delicate color look.  For a bolder look mix things up with bold, chunky accessories and layered necklaces. 

 

Sundresses – When it is too hot to wear anything the sundress can save the day. Usually lightweight and made from breathable fabrics, everything about a sundress is flexible.  They are easy to dress up or down, regardless if mini or maxi.

Styling tips: Sneaks pair perfectly if you are looking for a casual laid back look. Strappy sandals are a safe choice for sundresses, as are flat or heeled shoes. The sundress is also easy to transition from day to night by adding a cute linen or denim jacket.
